Awesome

A good slightly-techno remix of an awesome song. I also like how you toned down the over-pitched bits of the theme song (even the new song has a lot of ear-grating high notes...)

Superb

Amazing work. It keeps the original feel of the song (sad yet hopeful) without hitting you over the head with the faster beats and synths the other remixes use. When it finally does speed up into a more techno feel, it's controlled and natural. Great job!

Holy cow...

I never would have thought you could have made a song that had lyrics that matched the music as well as made sense for the game. Similar lyrical songs (Kindred for Metroid or Forest Prayer on OCRemix for Forest Temple of LOZOOT) have singing, but it doesn't really match the original feel or intentions of the songs as well as this. Actually made me cry a bit. Superb.

Thanks man! I actually got the idea to remix this song when I was working at walmart as a cashier lol and I was singing it to myself and it made me cry too haha so I decided I had to put all the emotion into a recording. Glad it transferred through the music! :)

Wow

Best Mario Star remix on Newgrounds. No question.

Unfortunately, a complete ripoff...

All you did was add a few clips of Gir to the midi of the original song (A very poorly recorded midi, I might add: Very static filled). Next time I would suggest actually remaking the theme yourself (But the Gir clips are okay). All-in-all, I'm only giving this a 3 because I love Gir and Invader Zim...

Superb

This is, hand down, the best Koopa's Beach remix I have ever heard, on any site. I would strongly recommend you submit this to OCRemix, as this would easily get accepted.
I love the vaguely jazz-guitar feel, but that it isn't too strong, and the drums are subdued enough that they don't dominate the main theme. Wonderful job, 10/10 and 5/5

Thank you very much :)

Fun to listen to...

Not quite my personal taste preference, but a good DnB song, and it actually enhanced the original song (to my surprise). Well done, and if you ever remix/redo the remix, I'd suggest making the actual song notes a bit more audible compared to the bass. But amazing job!

Superb

I have rarely heard such a good rendition of the Song of Healing, and the Deku Palace is much smoother and richer then other versions I've heard (Perhaps even better then the original...). I would just recommend a bit smoother transition between songs, perhaps with a little ocarina or some light woodwind perhaps. But amazing job overall.

HexMonkey responds:

Thank you. If I do another comp I'll keep that in mind.

Really good

The timpani isn't off (as far as I can tell), but you could use alternate higher/lower notes with it to complement the main tune, and quiet it a bit for the light strings parts. But very good job overall!

Really close...

The main orchestral part is amazing, but the violin is a bit too jerky. Smooth the violin parts, and maybe make it a bit warmer in the very beginning, and I'd agree that this would be an OC Remix smash hit :)
