Awesome

Great to play, and I liked how there wasn't a time limit like the last few games. Plus the heroes were a nice touch (Especially Michael Jackson...). Great work!

Funny

But the gameplay kinda sucked. Give it upgrades, and more levels (complete with more ridiculously mushy music) and I think it'll be a good front-page one. AS it is, I'm not sure it's quite the quality needed for the front page...

Pretty good premise...

But the fact the game weighs it against you if you're winning. Case in point: I had successfully immunized all my infected states, and was about to move on to the uninfected one, with absolutely 0 public panic. The rioting breaks out in Virginia and Maryland, followed quickly by looting. They were both uninfected, never had been, and were separated by 3+ states from other infected states. So they shouldn't have gotten any public dissent, let alone full-blown riots. It's pretty damn stupid when a simulation game like this has to throw in unrealistic events and occurrences in order to try to balance the game and make it "unwinnable" (as most simulation games I've encountered are essentially ongoing, with the difficulty and impossible events occurring in high enough amounts to ensure you lose)

Really good but...

You still have a few bugs to work out. My biggest grievance in that regard is Bowser version2 in the lava world. When you throw him farther then one of the bombs, he starts a permanent loop of flying in a circle, forcing you to commit mariocide in order to try again. This was especially annoying, as it blew away all 14 of my lives, and in general wasted my time. The rest of the game is amazing, but you just need to get rid of the final few bugs like that. Thanks!

What? How did you do that? I've been trying to figure out how to cause that Bowser glitch for weeks. It never happens to me.

Same game, new take

Awesome game. i normally love this type of falldown game, but this made it even better. I especially liked the ability to roll. I would only suggest that maybe you add powerups too (like slow time, phase through a few levels, super speed/turning, etc) to make it even more amazing. Great job!

Chrissakes...

The animationw as nice, and it *looked* like it would be fun, but jesus, make the enemy rely on attacks otehr than the one-hit-no-dodge-knock-you-on-your-as s attack that you can't avoid, block, or basically do anything about. I don't mind getting killed by the boss (hell, it usually happenned to me in Caslte Crashing the Beard), but at least I could HIT the boss once or twice before being smushed like a friggin mosquito. Either make it not knock you flat, be blockable, or have a bit of a wind-up as a warning so you cna dodge it to make this more playable. That, and speed up the movement rates, so I don't feel like I'm jogging in molasses.

God, sooo close to being amazing...

Beautiful graphics, just stunning and well-stylized. But the gameplay kills it. the shooting is fine,a nd controls are ok (your jump is kidna weak, but not too bad), but several things suck horribly unfortunately:
1) Why can enemies flowat THROUGH walls and I can't? Make them confined to the same movement constrains I am, and maybe convert some of the original flying-around-like-a-hummingbird enemies into regular walking ones instead?
2)Camera. The camera zooming in and out to the point of nausea was annoying, to say the least, but at least it made sense when fighting enemies. however, zooming wayyy in when there were no on-screen enemies made it impossible to move around (I died several times trying to find out where to go, and jumping to what I thought was a lower ledge that turned out to be the abyss)
3) Health: This isn't as big of an issue, but when I have the teleporting enemies through walls and the crappy camera, I tend to ahve issues effectively dodging and shooting the enemis. Maybe add a block button, or at least a momentary deflection button, so you can not get killed every time the enemies spam bullets at you?
Thanks. Hope to see fixes made to this, and it'll be a daily winner for sure.

Okay concept

The walking/attacks felt really choppy, and the "combo" was simply mashing the attack or jump button. The turbo attack was nice (especially being able to have it be interrupted), but you need more comboes, or at least be able tos tring together longer ones. Add a smoother running element too, since it felt like I was pretty clunky as a ninja running around :)

Pretty good

Fun to play, nice graphics, and the screen flipping thing was fun too. I'd only suggest either upgrades being permanent, or lasting a lot longer, or at least lasting roughly the same amount of time. Some upgrades I would have for the entire wave of enemies, and others would last like 10 seconds. At least put a timer out there so I know how much ass-kicking I have left with my powerup. Other than that, great game.

Huge potential

Funny sound effects, and decent missions, but the limited number of orbs was kinda a pain (make more orb-refills), and the bumping into a wall did WAAAYY too much damage way too fast. tone down how fast you take damage from wall, and throw in orb refill items/time extends to make it less of a pain in the ass to do some parts (or just make them available on an easier difficulty.)
